Christian Louboutin is celebrating 20 years of designing his gorgeous red soles this year, and he created a limited-edition capsule collection chock-full of his signature style to celebrate. For Spring 2012, Diane von Furstenberg was inspired by Africa which translated on the runway to shades of orange, green and khaki, and touches of safari - artfully done with modern appeal - think waist bags and diaphanous cargo pants. Charlotte Ronson delivered a neutral palette with pops of bright coral for Spring. Strong chokers, knee-high socks, and loose trousers comprised this Victorian-inspired collection. For Spring 2012 Mara Hoffman was inspired by a Mexican vacation with a dash of Frida Kahlo mixed in. Bright festive prints decorated jumpsuits, maxi dresses, high-waisted shorts, and for the first time, shoes in the form of lace-up platform sandals. Keeping her signature dose of grunge, Charlotte Ronson delivered a very wearable collection with a Victorian flair. Loose crop tops and flowy skirts, patchwork pieces, and strong chokers were a few of the standouts. She kept the palette relatively neutral, then finished with a fantastic full-length coral number.
