Harry Potter comes out this week, so Backyard FX responds to numerous viewer request to do Voldemort makeup. Julie, one of the members of the new BFX Build Team, shows you how to recreate this makeup effect from the new Harry Potter movie for cheap! The techniques used for this build can be applicable to many other special effect make-up needs. The New Public Enemies Movie features one of the most infamous guns of all time: The Tommy Gun. A highly requested effect from Indy Mogulers, Erik took this opportunity to finally build the iconic weapon. This build is a skill level 9, so it is challenging but the end result is a cheap, realistic replica. Erik visits Synapse FX in Southern California for this edition of Hollywood FX.  Get a behind-the-scenes look at how this special fx shop creates some amazing effects for independent film.  They're experts of it all and show off some of the latest prosthetic technology used to create realistic wounds and burns. We get some insider knowledge from the pros and Erik leaves with a burn the size of baseball!

The Terminator Movie franchise continues with Terminator Salvation, so Backyard FX had to answer the fans with a build from the movie.  This week, Erik builds a ripped-open chest that reveals a robotic endoskeleton like the one from the new trailer for Terminator Salvation.  For under $30, Erik shows you how to create the fake skin and robotic chest plate for the special effect. 

Indy Mogul has created a special Terminator-themed Your FX this month in honor of the New Terminator Salvation film.  Our first tutorial shows you how to make the inside of your arm look like it has a robotic skeleton, the second tutorial shows you how to recreate the Terminator make-up and faceplate.
