Hello! It's Andrea Guzman again with Mommy 2 Be Time. Today I am going to be talking to you about ten things that my mother didn't tell me about pregnancy. Now this might vary for you but these are the things that happen to me that my mom didn't tell me about. Number one low energy and tired all day I know that sounds totally obvious but this has been through out my pregnancy and now it's seven months and the things that I did to battle that is basically exercise naps and I went to that really early and I still am sometimes.
Number two nausea all day, not the type of nausea where I was throwing that but just feeling like a wetted throat by I didn't. So what did I do for that I did exercise and I tried things like ginger snaps and ginger ale but that didn't actually worked the only thing that worked for me basically has been exercise.
Number three increased sex drive. Yes that happen to first trimester. What you have about that is again exercise, you will see exercise is my answer to a lot of these but also communicate with the dad let him know what's going on may be he can help you out of that. Number 4 Hemorrhoids, yeah no one tell me about hemorrhoids, well what did I do about those increased fiber in my diet and also kegel exercises I am learning is suppose to helping with your hemorrhoids.
Okay and number five decreased -- lower back pain, back pain right down here. now that I have done a couple of things I have done yoga, I have done like a maternity belt which I am going to show you later on hopefully you will search it on my website and also I got a adjusted by the chiropractor, the chiropractor said that a lot of pregnant women get out of alignment so it's good to get adjusted every month.
Again talk to your OBGYN about what's going to work for you. Another thing hip pain, I also am doing a lot of exercise and getting adjusted by the chiropractor to take care of the hip pain, I was told that hip pain comes from all the hormones that are being pumped through your body, I don't know that was kind of like a shitting pain and it kind of went away. So you might have that.
Also extra mucous, I know it doesn't sound like a big deal but when you blow nasal a time it gets kind of irritating, that's pretty much what I do it just blow my nose just to be aware of it though. Also number eight increase risk of gum disease, I did not know that I was at risk of having any tooth problems but I just went to see my dentist regularly and check that out and that's all you can pretty much do on that one.
Number nine my feet swelled, not basically happened in the first trimester what I did was I bought a half size bigger shoe and I use a thinner socks I don't know your feet may or may not swell again. These are all what happened to me. Number 10 and most importantly my flat thighs got much fatter. What had happened is I got like this burning between my legs almost like a red burn on your thighs so I use neosprin because now they are switched together when I walk they kind of burn so try the neosprin before they -- get to happen to you.
One little extra tip for you. My maternity dress I got it at Old Navy. A lot of people think that you have to go buy maternity cloths from like a maternity store like motherhood, don't try to check out places like Forever21 or may be you might be able to get a deal and see it looks like a maternity dress it isn't but anyway cheaper too.
