So, I wanted to thank you guys for purchasing John Benson’s Program and as a bonus gift where you cannot get anywhere else as I promised is this DVD set where I will be going through the Advanced 14 Minute Protocol which is not included in John’s book. This was my idea only because I know there is a lot of guys out there who are probably thinking, you know, that seven minute protocol is great but now what do I do?
Personally, for myself, I have found that 14 Minute Protocol to be perfect and it works for my fitness level. It is much more intense and I am going to be taking you through it today. Last time I took my clients through it and now I am going to be taking myself through it. This actually my workout of the month this month; I have been doing this workout on my own so I am very familiar with it. I have worked my way through the learning curve, which we will be talking about slowly and I know which weights I am going to be using. I know how many reps I am going to be trying to beat today. So, we are going to have a lot of fun.
So, let us get started it the workout. Today is day one. We are going to be doing chest and back. So, it is a 14 minute workout. We will be doing seven minutes on chest and seven minutes on back. You are going to notice that today I am using different exercises than I took my clients through and they are still following John’s recommendations of which exercises to use for the power interval and which exercises to use for the mass interval. The reality is there is a lot of different ways in building muscle. I mean you can train with high volume, low volume and the reality is that everything works. Everything is worth for different people so who is to say which one is right and which one is wrong. In the end, it really comes down to your own personality and it does not really matter what the science says because to be honest, every single scientific study that is out there can be contradicted with another scientific study. So, in the end you have to look at the program and ask yourself will this work for my lifestyle? Will this work for my personality? Is this working? Period! If it is not, then drop in and try something else.
So, today we are providing you with another tool, another way of building muscle and you would not know it works until you actually do it. So, that is my basis for deciding if I keep something or if I drop something and do not put too much analysis into all the little details. I will tell you to actually put this into action. So, let us have some fun today. It is going to be a tough workout. John had the easy part of putting this workout together; you got the hard part of actually putting it into action. So, I am looking forward to this and let us get started.
