2 Blues Licks

Brad from JamPlay here. I have a blues lick in the key of Am for you. Let’s just start out with it. Let me play it one more time so you can get the idea of it. [Demonstration] Okay, the first note is going to be on the 5th fret on the 4th string and that is your note here at note. Next note is going to be on the 3rd fret on the 3rd string. Next note, is on the 3rd string 5th fret go to the 6th fret back to the 5th then to the 3rd fret and then the 5th fret on the 4th string. Let’s just play that all together. [Demonstration] One time slow. [Demonstration] And then up to speed [Demonstration] Okay now, I’d like to show you the same type of lick in the key of Gm. We’ll just start up quick playing the open note on the 3rd string [Demonstration] That’s your G note. The next one is going to be on the 3rd fret on the 3rd string. Then we’re going to the 1st fret on the 2nd string then 2nd fret back to the 1st then to the 3rd fret 3rd string and then open. Okay, let’s play that one more time.
