2010 Land Rover Range Rover
Concepts cars always have these dashboards awash in LCD panels, and then we never it.
Except in this one, the new production model 2010 Range Rover. Check out the dash, not
a gauge to be found. That’s all video representations of instruments. There’s a full 12-
inch LCD panel and in there you’ll find that video of a Speedo, a Tach, and other gauges.
Nestled amongst them is an elaborate information center which you can customize and
tweak to display whatever you want from MPG, to steering angle, wheel articulation, or
suspension settings.
The other screen, almost pedestrian by comparison, is a touchscreen face for a hard drive
based GPS head unit. But it can also display an optional surround view from five digital
cameras outside the vehicle, or give you a very handy towing assist view out the back to
help maneuver things you’re towing when backing up.
