2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

For 2010 Mercedes-Benz replacing both the E Class and the CLK Coupe, both models going forward are going to refereed as the E Class. I am standing in front of the E Class Sedan. This car is a lot different looking in the model it replaces. It looks a lot more like the C Class. It's square and more aerodynamic for better highway fuel economy.

The E Coupe, which uses components of both the C Class and the E Class looks a world different than the CLK it replaces. It's got a pointed chiseled nose, and really nice looking character lines that flow along the side. When these cars going sale toward the end of 2009 powertrain choices will be similar to what we see today. But eventually we'll start to see turbo charged engines, available in both of these cars, as Mercedes strives for increased fuel economy.

So far Mercedes has only shown the regular versions of these cars, but we know for the fact that AMG versions with big V8s are a mile stones through the way. We can't wait to see those, and we are looking forward to driving all the E class models.
