2010 Volkswagen GTI

At last Falls Paris Auto show, Volswagen showed a thinly disguised concept version of the sixth generation GTI. Here, in Geneva, we get to see the real thing and it's pretty much the same thing. New sleeker body work is overlayed on the previous generation platform and not all the body work is new either. The doors and roof, carry over from the old GTI. Inside VW, has fitted a new interior with a more up market look. Under the hood is VW similar two liter direct injection turbo 4 cylinder. The new version makes 210 horsepower and will be connected to either a 6-speed manual or Volswagen DSG dual-clutch 6-speed system. We are looking forward to driving the new GTI as last years model was a favorite and multiple winner of our ten best. State side sales are scheduled to begin at the end of the 2009.
