Hi, I am Irene and today I would to tell you the three reasons that I really like my tumbleweed compost maker. First, it is easy to assemble. When you order this and get it in the mail, it comes in basically three parts. You have the upper and lower parts and then you have the base. And it takes probably 15 minutes to put together and the main thing involved in coming it together is using these little screws and nuts to fit the top and the bottom together. It is really simple though.
The second reason why I like it is because it makes composting really neat and clean. In the past, I have had a pile and when you pile stuff out without a bin, it kind of gets out of control and creatures can get to it and these takes care of that problem. No matter how yucky the stuff is that you put inside your compost bin like for example, I have here some kitchen scraps that are little bit right. I will toss it in, put the top on it and it is gone. No flies, no creatures, it is very neat and clean, as clean as your regular garbage can.
The third reason why I really like is because it is a really effective way to compost. Usually with a pile, you have to use pitch forks to keep the air in it, to keep the microbes working and breaking down the molds. With this particular model, since it is so easy to turn over, even if it has 50 or 100 counts of stuffs in it, the air that is mixed up into it soothed the microbes work overtime breaking down your molds and making a very quick and effective process. We have only had this going for a few weeks now and all ready. The soft litter in my bed in here is already broken down much further than the stuff that was in my pile for a month. So those are the three reasons why I really like my tumbleweed compost maker.
