3D Brick Breaker Revolution iPhone App Review

3D Brick Breaker Revolution is a new twist on the brick breaker genre. Offered on both iPhone and iPod Touch, the app attempts to harness the addicting gameplay the genre is known for and also add a few new features and ideas to the mix. The game features three different modes to choose from, Classic Mode, Revolution Mode, and Time Attack. Classic Mode has 99 levels to play through and eventually the player fights a final boss. Revolution mode has the player trying to stay alive as long as possible. The Time Attack mode challenges the player to get as far as they can before the time runs out
The controls in this game are pretty smooth and the graphics are decent.

What makes this game different from some of the other brick breaking games is the crazy powerups that can be collected thought the levels. We've seen powerups in these games before, but this app takes it to a different level completely with powerups that both help or hinder the player. The ball seems to move a bit slower than most brick breaking games we've seen but this could be a necessary choice made to help with control of the game. Overall, 3D Brick Breaker Revolution is a definite top choice for brick breaking games. It has great graphics, sounds and enough content to keep player content.
