Veronica: Traces takes place in a shelter with a five characters leave nothing unsaid or undone. Hi! I am Veronica with watchmojo.com and today we are getting a behind the scenes look with one of the newest members of the Seven Fingers. So can you tell us about the newest edition to the Seven Fingers?
Philip Rosenberg: There is Antoine Auger and Genevieve, right there they are doing the hand to hand, there is Antoine Carabinier and he is doing Roue Cyr, which is a like a wheel that you spin in. Nael Jamal who is doing acrobatics and pole and hoops with us, me I am doing a number of hand stands and then also the acrobatics.
Veronica: And you are?
Philip Rosenberg: Oh! Yes I am Philip, Philip Rosenberg.
Veronica: And how do you guys all bring to the show?
Philip Rosenberg: The other boys they all knew each other for years and they had a very close relationship and they had a kind of understanding between them because they have been together for so long. Some of us knew each other before but mainly the group got together a couple of months ago. So I feel like there is a lot more room for improvisation because we are not expecting things from people we kind of still surprise each other and I think the element of surprise comes out in the show.
Veronica: One of the great things about the seven things about the Seven Thing is that there is always a story in the show, what's the premise of this one?
Philip Rosenberg: It's almost it's like a catastrophe has happened and we are all kind of enclosed in a situation together, it's kind of like what we choose to leave behind in the world before it ends or if it's going to end or how we are living in this particular moment.
Veronica: What do you think the audience would love most about this show?
Philip Rosenberg: I think they are just going to love the blend of the tricks in the theater and also just because it's a really welcoming show it's really for a lot of people there is moments when it's more intimate, there is moments where its really funny, there is moments where it's really scary, I think it has pretty much everything as a show.
Veronica: So traces was described as part theater and part circus. How do you guys incorporate the two?
Philip Rosenberg: It's a great combination that goes naturally for all of us hand in hand because we love to be on stage be natural and then we loved to do tricks also.
Veronica: Well good luck and thank you very much.
Philip Rosenberg: Yeah thank you.
