Hey YouTube! It’s TechSupportGoneBad. And today, I'm going to be talking about MediaFire.com. Well, MediaFire.com is basically the best free file hosting web site I have come across. And well, before I do anything else, I just wanted to let you guys know, do not be fooled. My computer is not a Mac, I am running XP Home Professional and you have no idea how many people keep asking me that everyday.
This program right is called RocketDock, you could find at RocketDock.com or check on my tutorial on it. And the background, Wall.applecoder.com and Wall.applecoder.com is the best free high quality wallpaper web site that I have come across, and their wallpapers are just amazing. And also, I have a tutorial on that too.
Okay, so back to today’s tutorial, MediaFire.com, free file hosting made simple, that’s their little slogan. And well, this is what you get. Unlimited storage up to 100 megabytes per file, unlimited uploads, unlimited downloads, unlimited bandwidth, image galleries, no sign up required and no software to instal. And well, yeah, it’s really cool because you don’t even have to sign up to upload the files the MediaFire, all you have to do is go to MediaFire.com, click upload file to MediaFire and it will ask you this, “Do you have a MediaFire account?” You rather or create a free account now. I want to upload without an account or yes, I’ll log in now.
Now, the only advantage you get to making a free account is you can manage your files in the future. Now, if you really want to do that, you could make a free account, it doesn’t take too long and it’s free, so yeah, why not, you know. But if you don’t really care, then you can just upload without an account. So in this case, I'm going to do that.
So I'm just going to click that button and your thing will pop up that says desktop document, my computer and all that other stuff. So today, I'm going to upload the TechSupportGoneBad logo. So I'm going to double click on that and this new window will pop up. then you have to click start upload and then choose the file you’re going to upload it. I'm going ton upload it to my files, the main folder and just give it some time, 100$ already and it’s waiting to verify. And it said, the file are already in my account. Well, it is because I have done this tutorial over and over and over again, yes, I mess up, I'm human, I have to do it over again. Well, whatever.
So anyway, if this works which it should unless it’s already in your account or if the size is too big, if it passes 100 megabytes, then it’s not going to work. Okay, so after you uploaded it, it will give you the sharing URL. So you just copy, click copy link and it will automatically copy it to your clipboard and all you need to do is just paste it into your search bar, press enter and it will take you—yeah, it will take you to the place where you could download that file.
So you could just click on it and it will download and you could use this to share it with people, you could put the link to, for example, I can put this link in the video description and people could just go and download it from there. And yeah, you could use it for a lot of stuff, and yeah, MediaFire.com, free file hosting made simple. Be sure to check it, it’s very useful. Until next time, TechSupportGoneBad.
