Hey, guys. David Risley here at DavidRisley.com, happy Monday to you and today I wanted to use a gift that I've got as an example of good marketing. The gift is this book right here. It was sent to me by that guy over Systweak.com. I’ll put that link in the blog post for this video but Systweak.com is not related to this particular blog. It’s related to my technology blog PCMech.com because Systweak.com, if you go their site you could see I do system protector Pro Internet Security 2009.
Basically, they are PC utility company. Now, I met with this guy several months ago. I had a meeting with them here in the camp area and real nice guy. Obviously they were looking to you know to form a relationship with me because I'm the owner of PCMech.com but I was surprised that they sent me this really nice gift. I mean to get it closer the camera so you could see it with my mic here.
Now, these guys are from India and you can see it’s got a real nice Indian cover here and what’s really cool, they actually put my name on this book and if you go in the inside, it has got all kinds of international coloring codes, birth signs, Hindu festivals because obviously they’re from India. There are a lot of pretty cool and it’s kind of like a little journal anyway, a 2009 diary there and I've got the contact information here.
So why I'm bringing this up is because it’s a really nice gift and I want to send them in shadow but be just be marketing your prospective think about this thing. It is taking advantage of the idea of response. I mean they’re doing something nice for me which makes me more likely to wonder to do things like this video right here and give them a shadow on my web site. But not only that, this was a hardcover book. It’s got their information right here and on the front that it has got lasting power. This is going to go up on my bookshelf whether I'm using as an actual journal or not. It doesn’t really matter. It’s a nice little book.
And it’s got their information on there and it’s good promotion for them so it’s something that you keep in mind as a potential for marketing your business whether you know. Chances are is a more applicable to you whether you get an established business that you’re just trying to get bloggers to talk about you. In this case, I'm the blogger. These guys are not and they’re trying to get publicity and just build relationships with people that can talk about them and it’s very understandable on their part and this is a really good way to do it and so the idea of sending out some free things especially when it wasn’t expected. I think it’s a really good factor.

If you have a PC, I do recommend you to check it out because it do has some good optimization utilities for Windows and obviously Windows has a humongous, big target on it so I'm using though as ten so I don’t worry about it quite as much but Windows has a big target on it so anyway enough of that.
