Then follow the trail on to Newton and discover how it became one of the most notorious and violent towns in the history of the west. Swells for more than 1 million head of cattle are still visible in trails part at Kauffman Museum.

Keep the action moving in Abilene where you can catch the historic train of the Smoky Valley Railroad or peer in to the laboratory of the Seelye Mansion where the famous Dr. Seelye mixed his elixirs and cure all potions during the turn of the century. Then catch your breath at the historical plaza walking tour in Elsworth. This region was treaded by legendary lawmen and droves of longhorn cattle. Elsworth was once known as the wickedest town in the west and you can still catch a hint of its wild ways.

Finally make a dash to Dodge City where brawls break out in the all out gunfight in Wider Boulevard and you never know who might be strutting down the street of the Boot Hill Museum.
