Hi you are watching my video review on the slow cooker made by Kitchen Gourmet. This is a 1 1/2 cork slow cooker made by Kitchen Gourmet. It is a compact size. I like to use this for making stew and chili and things like that. Slow cookers are really convenient because you just throw all the ingredient in here and then you can put it on the refrigerator the next morning before you leave you plug it in. Slow cooker is designed to cook all day like six hours, eight hours so when you come home everything is done.
This has three temperature settings. High, low and warm. Warm is not a temperature for cooking not just to keep the food warm and the high setting requires about four hours to reach a 100 degree Celsius. So that is the temperature why water is boiling and Low, low will require about five hours to reach 175 degrees and just about all the cooking they will do on here is going to be on low. It has a little ceramic pot that you can remove and you can remove and take that to the table so that will help keep it warm if you do not want to plug in and you leave on the warm setting.
