Hi, this is Dan with my review of Microsoft Excel 2007. Let us take a look at some of its features. Microsoft Excel has a familiar basic interface that you can notice here. It is still spreadsheet, do not get me wrong and you can pick your different sheets and what not. But at the core of this the features that have been upgraded in Excel allow more robust and more user friendly interfaces. We take a look some of the work that I have done. You can notice that you can now create this on table areas. Where you can basically sort any formula or something base of drop down menus rather than having to type everything in.
Notice that we can sort, you know, A to Z. Base of this nice XML base set up charts and that is one great functionality. Again, you see the ribbon across the top here that allows you to navigate all the functions including libraries of all the different functions for Excel, which it is very convenient. As well as formatting options, styles and changes so if you take a look at some of these options here you will even have the ability to change the formatting functions. The logic that you are doing with your numbers and your data quite easily. Amongst some of these new features that Excel has also new file format that does dynamically compress. Its information it is a extension that is not backward compatible of previous versions but as more adaptors use this it will be more widespread and preferably available.
So you can see Excel has a new robust interface with the ribbon design as well. You know I think it is a great edition to the Excel lineup. Especially for you intermediate beginners users out there it will feel better if your familiar to the old version but also now it sports a lot of new features. Out of five stars I give this four as I do like it, it is upgrade. Again aside from the new file format as more people adapt I do not think that will be a large problem anymore so until then.
