Alright this is a tutorial for second life on how to build the stuff. I will make it quick for you and make it easy. I will give you simple camera controls first. You hit Alt and you click on the object you are looking at and you can spin it around in and out.
I hold Ctrl and Alt, you can go up and down. I just do a 360 spin, kind of moved it you can see there. Now if you are going to build something for example, Right Click on the ground, hit Create and you will have a menu pop up. Now in the menu you will see many objects. To begin with I will use a square. You can just click on the ground and it will appear.
Now click on edit in the box that showed up and your positioning will come up, that's the zeros blue will go up. Green and red different directions like so. Now you can so use you camera to get a better closer look at it. Then you have rotate as you can see right there. That rotates the object in a certain way that you want and stretch, which is why I am stretching it in different directions and make it all bigger or slim fat skinny, whatever you really want.
I will make mine like that and now for the more advanced section, you go to the more tab or button inside the edit box, go to object and you will have deals called Twist Being and End, Taper, Top Shear. Now you have started doing those and you start to see differences in the object.
They will twist or they will Top Shear it will skew it in a certain way. We also have a hallow which will bore a hole through it. Then there is Cut Path which will cut a path through this, slicing it apart. Eventually it doesn't really look like it's square. Next I am going to go back to create. I am going to get a circle this time, you just hit the ground again.
Then just I will position that up by the previous object you can see, you can just kind of see it I am going to make it little fatter so you can see it better here we go. When we are directly over and it is touching and what I am going to do is I am going to Shift click the other part, now they are both highlighted with yellow. So what you do now is you hit Ctrl L and that will seal them together, so now they will act as one part so when you move it, it moves all as one and you can position it all as one. This works great for making advanced parts for amour if you want like spikes and pauldrons or a jetpack that could great for laying, just Shift for it.
So next if you want to, you could attach this to you. Now what you do there, you walk up to it right click it. Attach then wherever you want -- I am going to head in on my skull. So it's stuck on skull right now. I have to position it from there you hit edit again and then it's basically the same controls, you can move it anyway you want, until you get it exactly where you want it. Mine I am just going to put the circle on top of my head and that's about all you got and you start walking and or flying in my case and you got it. It is how you build it. If you want to do textures click on that, click more then there is a texture tab you just click on it and you will have whole list of them right here and you just pick on, select it and you are done.
You have got a spiffy looking, fucking thing. Hello alright, good luck you will probably have to watch this couple of times, but I am sick of explaining it to everyone.
