unfor tunately, the spammers are right about one thing. Posting links actually does raise traffic -- remember that they post to thousands, if not tens of thousands of sites. The comment here is just one of them. I really hate spam as well, but, you have to remember, if it's not working, they wouldn't be doing it.

A stance against spam posts
Just so all you annoying spam post marketers know, posting a link to a site DOES NOT significantly increase your incoming traffic. Saying that if I post a site here www.MyBlogCanBeatUpY ourBlog.com it will receive an explosion of traffic is idiotic. Please stop.
