Justin: Hey what's going on, this is Justin@winksound.com. We’re here at AES New York. I'm here with Todd Stevens from Waves.
Todd: If I've got noise in my environment, we want to be able to suppress that. I need to keep the nose. I need to keep the environment alive. I don’t necessarily want to kill it. But, if I just want to team it, I want to get rid of many camera noise, I want to get rid of tape live noise, I just want to get rid of that environment of a trade show, I can reduce all that with this plug-ins.
Based upon different band with I can narrow that range, I can expand that range. So, if I'm narrow it, I'm doing more of a notch filtering on the noise levels. If I got a broad range, I’m really dealing with that large noise characteristic maybe more environmental noise problems. And again, I'm pushing those down to keep them out of my way so I can focus on the dialogue, that’s what we’re focusing on. But, I still want a little bit of my environmental characteristics alive. So, that’s what waves noise suppression that they offer us.
