Hey, you! How is it going? My name is Jordan and today I am going to be reviewing the product Motorola H500 Bluetooth headset. As you can see, it is really, really small and basically what this is, is a Bluetooth headset that fits on to your ear and kind of acts like a phone without the numbers. Basically, this device connects to your cell phone, it transmits some kind of signal so you can keep your cell phone in your pocket and you can have this in your ear and you can talk to people.
Now, that might freak a lot of people out. You know what I mean; not having a cell phone actually up to your ear might sound like something at the Star Trek. However, I was kind of skeptical at first with how this is going to work but after getting this headset which is the H500, I got it at the Verizon store for maybe $60.00 or something like that. After I got it, I definitely do not think I can go without it now. I forget it is there and as you can see it is not too goody. It does tick out a little bit, so hopefully, with technology, other things will get smaller.
But this one is really good as far as not getting away. It does not fall off as you can see. But basically, you just push this button on the side to activate the voice dialing on your cell phone. Then you say things like “Call Dad” or “Call Wife” or something like that and it connects the phone to your Bluetooth and then it calls them and all you do is talk normally. Probably one of the downsides of this headset is that it picks up a lot of background noise and that sometimes that can be a real hassle. Because sometimes the people on the other line are like “What did you just said?” because there is a lot of background noise going on. But right now, it is a good product to have. I am not sure if I would buy that again just because of the $60.00 and a lot of the background noises and sometimes it will randomly disconnect which is really inconvenient because then it hangs up on the person and things like that.
So, if you are looking for a hands free solution as far as I drive around a lot or something like that, this is definitely what you need to pick up. However, if you are willing to wait a couple of more months, I am sure they will come out with a better product, one that has better connectivity, and one that is a little bit smaller and will fit in your ear a little bit better. But if you are looking for something right now, I definitely pick this up.
