How you doing? Today, we are going to be talking about Ableton live six and I am going to be showing you some of the ways on which you can use it with the mini-controller to do some fancy music stuff so I hope you enjoy, let us get started.
Probably the best all around feature of Ableton is the ability to assign MIDI control to about any midi controller, you can also use your keyboard to trigger midi arm tracks, play loops, turn on or off effects, pretty much anything you can imagine, any button there is on the software you can assign it. Now, I am using a trigger finger by my audio I got some a couple of things assigned here, this over chord for me, this was to stop the tracks that I just recorded. This is the auto filter for the drums, over here on my keyboard just so you know playing keyboard, I am using it for MIDI control of a sign something, this arm, this play a different drum loops, this changes the instrument sounds.

So I got this assigned because I know that I am not going to be using them in the song I am about to make and it allows me to on the fly, change instruments, record things and jam out or write a song. I will give you a little demonstration. Here we go.
(Demo)
I am going to clear these tracks sorry about that. Okay, just drums for starting out.
(Demo)
Now the great feature is that it will start to loop on the down beat so I can push it now and it will not start trigger and changing the loop until the right time.

But I just recorded the bass line and on the computer it is fully editable just like your regular midi.
(Demo)
I am not recording this.

So,
Oh no
(Music playing)
