Hi, there! Recently, I was talking to a student who is going to baptized next week and I ask her how was that she came to be involved in our group and began to grow in her relationship with the Lord. And she explain to me how her first day of school, she was sitting in a class and a student named Billy began to talk to her and just accept her and invited her to our group. Recently, I was talking that story and another is says, “Oh, me too! Me too!” That is how I became involved in this group. I was sitting at lunch all by myself and Billy invited me to came over and share with them and when he said “You want to come over to share with us?” I was like “Of course, I do!” I am sitting here along by myself obviously. I do not how to express that much on his face but inside he was going to “Yes! I want to hangout with somebody. I want to be part of this on your group. Accepting one another is a powerful thing. In Romans 15:07, it says this “Accept one another then just as Christ accepted you in order to bring praise to God.” As we go through life, there are so many opportunities for us to accept people that are different that are different than us. Look different, smell different, act different. I want to encourage you today to have eyes to see those around you and who you can accept.
