Debbie: Hi! My name is Debbie, I'm from Tampa, Florida, 42 years old, and I want to know if acupuncture or reiki can heal breast cancer. Katherine Lee: Debbie that's a really good question, because as a woman is treated for breast cancer and goes thorough surgery and medications and possibly even radiation and chemotherapy; there are a lot of things that are happening to her body. So there maybe some benefit to reducing your stress during this time period, and acupuncture and reiki can certainly do that. So it may be something complimentary to your standard treatment. However, on its own, it does not cure your cancer.
