I am Dave Epstein this is Growing Wisdom and today I want to talk about the back of your border so you have a garden but I want to talk about what goes behind everything. You know we have got some nice plants in the front but let us go to the back of the border and I have got two plants that I really like for the back of the border. They are next to each other, which make it easy. This first one is Rudbeckia Herbstone, just a great Rudbeckia. Look at the brilliant, sort of battery yellow flowers and look how it is tall is now. Remember I am not very tall but this is 6 ½ feet up and that makes a great back draft to any border. Right next to it we have got the Joe-pye weed, and what is nice about the Joe-pye weed is it attracts butterflies and bees, it is also native. So, if you are looking for two tall companion plants that you are really well behind the garden, Joe-pye weed, Rudbeckia Herbstone two super plants for behind the rest of your garden. Come back every week wherever you watching this, we want you to come to GrowingWisdom.com for all of our tips and some helps.
