Host: Is it true that a puppy would make an older dog more youthful? Kevin Simpson: Well, just like people of different age groups unless they have a lot in common generally speaking. The younger puppy may end up being more of a nuisance for the older pet. Generally forgetting a younger dog to help rejuvenate an older pet, they're generally better off getting a dog which is just a couple of years younger than the older pet. So that they're styles of play are a little bit more in sink. Young puppies really can have twice the energy level, three times the energy level of an older pet and really be just under tail, under toe and it would be a bit of pestilence for an older dog. And so in some instances sure, they might be great friends and it might really just be you know, an awaking for the older pet but more than that I tried to stick with dogs that are a little bit more similar in age groups. You know, you too to your four year old dogs or your five to your seven year old dog something in that nature where their more closer in age but I mean they're a little younger.
