Then I need to click on update and preview widget also you can come back and change this as many times as you want, this is a preview of what it looks like so you can fit around with it make more changes. Now, we need to do is highlight this code which I can do with ctrl+A and then copy it then I need to go across to my blog and decide where in the blog I am going to place this particular widget. I am going to place it between the calendar and the techno widget that I have already placed on here so I will then go to the blog admin, go to presentation theme editor, and go to the side bar and to edit the side bar; you can simply choose it from here.
Now, I need to go through the side-bar and look for the bit that says calendar. Somewhere down here we have categories, themes, get links list, there we have the calendar. We already got widget in here for my blog log so I am going to put it after that particular widget by putting a couple of extra lines and then pasting that in, so if I right click and choose paste. So, now we go back in there. When you are playing around with the side bar in your blog one thing that is worth doing is copying all of the text in here and pasting it into a text pad and saving that in case you make any mistakes if you mess things up you know then that you always got the code t come back to.

So, paste in the code click on update file and once that is updated we can go back to the blog and refresh the blog to have a look and see what it looks like. Now, I have already added as I said one for my blog log, this is for blog catalogue you can see it is here. Neither of these is showing any visitors yet because this is a brand new blog, it is only a week or so old. There have not been any visitors to it yet. One of the ways of getting new visitors to come to your blog is go to my blog log or blog catalogue or visit other people’s particular profiles and post some comments, nice comments about their blogs and that will encourage to come and visit your blog and you will get more people appearing here. Once you have more people appearing in there, it does work a social proof. So it is very useful.
