Adjusting the Contours of an Image

We’re going to start to adjust the imaging; get the contours correct for what we want. I’m going to just make a Levels adjustments and this is going to serve to show you what’s hiding in the image and if we go in a bit too dark and too bright and any of the past images and just tell us that. Hold on, okay and just click on the highlight stopper there and that just shows us of what we know over the bits darker and quite bright, the few bits of the grass or a lot of that greenly stuff there.

And the shadow and it’s also the background here which we’re not worried about and also a bit of the sky now, so I think we can come down a bit darker with that so click okay, just leave that one in place for now, make it curves. I just went to layer like so.

Basically, this is going to bring down the image a little bit like that and just raise to a little bit of contrast getting to the image, no too much, like so and that’s just darken our sky a bit. It has got a little bit noise there a little light there, a little bit too much in camera rule and we don’t need it the lighter stuff. We do want the stars to show up and so now we can just double click on the Levels again and just right click that to open and we can just hold on okay and in our shadow just see changes come there and that looks okay and leave that where it is. So we can go a little bit darker but we’ll work for now is to leave it dark and that’s just help just to bring a bit more contrast to the image.
