Collecting Lunchboxes
Lunchboxes were popular things started in the 1950s for kids to take to school but now there become an avid collection for few die-hearts. Hi, I am Joe and I am a writer here in New York City and I am here to talk a little bit about lunchbox collecting.
A great way to start about lunchbox collecting is maybe you like a TV show you like from the 1980s or a lunch box you had as a kid. A great place to find lunch box is e-bay, located at e-bay.com. E-bay has a plethora of lunchboxes that you could buy but you want to be careful because you want to make sure that the lunchboxes are in good condition. A great way to see that they are in good condition is by checking out the pictures, the seller’s have on the website.
The most valuable lunch box is on the marker, usually use once from the1950s and 1960s. There are some very obscure television shows such as the 1970s and 1999, they have more value than something recent such as Beetle juice or the Adam’s family. The actual value of lunchbox is actually determine on whether it has the thermos inside if you open it out and there is no thermos, then your lunchbox is differently going to be worthless. And when you open the lunchbox, you want to make sure the thermos has the actual lunchbox decal. If you have an elf lunchbox, you want to make sure that it has an elf thermos. That will make sure that your lunchbox is worth is high as value.
A list popular lunchbox is that they are increasing in value over the years, our once from such television show as more commende, the eighteen and knight rider; and from movie such as the Gooiness, Gremlins and Star Wars.
If you have a valuable lunchbox especially one that is in great condition, you want to make sure it is protected. So you might want to wrap and bubble wrap and put it in closet somewhere where moisture will not get to let because most of this lunchboxes are metal. The plastic ones, you have a little more leeway because you can either put them in a shelf or just put them by themselves in a closet somewhere.
