He’s a very hard worker and we always wanted since he was seven. Lindsay Caldwell: What do you think why he even get so successful? Akon: Well I think he caught the market at the right time. He caught that window right when there were no child stars out there but on top of that he is talent, he is real talent. This kid is going to go a long way. Lindsay Caldwell: Are you and Lady Gaga working on collaboration right now? Akon: Well, you know I will let you know in a minute. Lindsay Caldwell: Anybody you’re looking forward to sing? Akon: Yeah I’m looking pretty much to report a sing for everybody now. Lindsay Caldwell: Would you say that Lady Gaga interviewed last year at Wango Tango, do you think she’s the new Madonna? Would you classify her as an up and coming Madonna? Akon: I think she is the future legend of this time. I think Madonna was the legend of her time and I think Gaga is definitely hers at this particular moment. She will definitely be one of those leading icons along side of Madonna and Miss Cher. Lindsay Caldwell: Christina Aguilera released a new music video and people like what this she’s kind of mimicking with Lady Gaga, do you think their own individual people? Akon: No. I mean something like that you take it as a compliment. Lindsay Caldwell: Right. Akon: That just shows that Gaga is influencing not only just the regular fans but even the professional entertainers and that is a lot to say. You know so I mean thank you, Aguilera, really.
