Female: Cocaine or COC is a stimulant which is extracted from the coca plant, the white powder is usually snorted. After doing a line of COC, you will feel extremely euphoric due to a higher than normal release of the neurotransmitter dopamine. You may also feel hypersensitive, mentally alert and physically energized. A high from snorting may take about five minutes to kick in and last 15 minutes to half an hour.
As you crash from a high, you may crave more COC to fix the feeling which is why COC can be so addictive. Coming down from cocaine may also leave you fatigued, agitated and irritable. Long-term use of COC is associated with many problems including anhedonia which is the inability to feel pleasure, seizures and even cardiac arrest.
