So guys DJ Ty from agiprodj.com and today we are checking out hot new LED lighting effect. LED is here, it is no longer the future, it is the now for DJ lighting. And this is the brand new American DJ X scan LED, there is no heat, there is no duty cycle. This thing has got a single 21 LED bulb in it and its darn near close and actually I believe it's probably right there, the same output as a 250 watt halogen bulb. People say well why don't you just buy an Archstream or why don't you buy an MSD 250 fixture, that's because it needs its own dedicated power supply to run it.
So you are out there doing a gig or you got in your own, you want to do something green, you want to do an environmentally responsible install or you got lower power availability. The X Scan LED fixture as well as any of these LED fixtures is the way to go. They require about a tenth of the power as a normal light fixture. So this monster is your standard moving mirror fixture, its got 9 Gobos, 9 colors, its got full DMX, right now its just running on stand alone, sound active. It's got its own built-in microphone on the bottom. We will just tip this down; it's running right now on master mode.
You can see its got DMX out so you can link numerous of them together. It's got a built-in microphone with a sensitivity adjustment so I can set it here. And then its got a whole ton of built-in programs as well that you can run that aren't sound activated but you can see it's actually activating up on my voice. Its on Sound Active right now, we have also got this quarter inch jack for remote control and that's this cool little thing. It's the American DJ UC3 which is just a universal controller and plug it in and that gives you black out. So you want an instant black out for a cut like this part right here.
So you can black out your light fixtures, its got a function button so you can actually change the different modes of the light functions under, its running a little slower. Now it's just going in a less low scan mode. So I do have some changes and things that you can control from this little controller. So believe me, I understand how daunting DMX is. Once you figure it out and once you can program it, there is amazing things you could do with your live show. But if DMX is beyond you or if it's just not something that you want to kill yourself on, get one of these and you have got all these chained together. One little controller can control all eight of them if you got eight of them in your live show, they can control a combination of these, Revo effects as well.
So UC3 controller, we got it hooked up here which I am going to unplug it, so it goes back into, taking the black out, there we go. So UC3 controller, unplug now, run it back in the Sound Activated mode. X Scan LED, 21 LED, low power requirements, nice and bright, 9 Gobos, 9 shapes.
