Amy Mac: Deli sandwiches make you fat. Hey, everybody I'm Amy Mac. In today's fit life, well, tell me about condiments and how they can make a break and still called a healthy meal. When you got McDonald's or Burger king or any type of fast food restaurant, you know you're getting into a high calorie meal with burgers, fries and soda. But when you go to and so called healthier restaurant like Subway or Jersey Mike's or even your corn or Deli, you tend to relax and think that you can't make an unhealthy decision; that is wrong. Just by putting menace on your Deli sandwich instead of mustard, you're going to cost yourself an extra 80 calories per sandwich.
Let's say, you do that five times a week, by the end of the week, you would have to spend an extra 45 minutes to in cardio just to burn the menace and that's just Deli sandwiches. And what about vegetable tray, veggies and dip; everybody always wants to pair those vegetable sticks with ranch. Ranch has 74 calories per tablespoon, if you're to switch Homogen for that Ranch, you would save yourself a two-thirds of the calories just by switching dip. And don't even get at least started about baked potatoes. Baked potatoes with butter and sour cream add 100s of calories to your potato. You can instead switch it salsa at 7.5 calories per tablespoon that's a lot of salsa that you can put on there and even a sprinkle of cheese. It's going to taste great either way, just kind of think outside the box.
