An Introduction to Belly Dancing - History and Different Styles

Hey welcome to watchmojo.com, my name is Mihailla Comer, and I am a professional belly dancer. If you want to know where belly dancing actually started, it is little hard to find the information because nobody really knows. But what we do know is that it is been around for about 6000 years. I was the Turks, the Egyptians, the Phoenicians started around that time. It was more use for actual ceremonies like birth rituals and all kinds of things it was much more traditional than in this today. In 1893, it was the first time that America got introduce to belly dancing at convention in Chicago and ever since then you see it everywhere in restaurant, in wedding receptions, events, corporate parties people take classes it is become like it is popular everywhere.
