Hi there! This is Robert from dolphinstreet.com. In my hands, I have an Anthem guitar. This model is called WTR30 and this color is called transparent black. And this is a high gain humbucker guitar and as you can see, it’s got zebras style pickups. The pickups are designed by Anthem and they actually sound really good.
The guitar has 24 frets and Floyd Rose Tremolo, and the frets are jumbo frets. The guitar also came with a cable, a pack of strings, and a strap. That’s nice. The body is made out of basswood and it has a three piece bolt-on Canadian Maple Neck. The scale length is 25 ½ inches. The Fretboard is a Rosewood Fretboard and it has a radius of 17 inches. The Floyd Rose on this guitar is the Floyd Rose Special. It is a real Floyd but it’s manufactured in Korea. As a result, it can use Floyd Rose replacement parts.
I find this guitar is really easy to play. It really has a fast neck so you can play fast stuff on it. It’s really nice. It sounds really great for high gain sounds with this pickups or high output.
The Floyd Rose Special does a good job of keeping the guitar in tune even if you act really hard in the bar. If you’re looking for a fat-sounding high gain guitar, take a really close look at the Anthem WTR30. It sounds really good.
So let’s take this guitar for a spin and see what kind of sounds we can get out of it. I’m using a Marshall JVM410H and I’m going through an Avatar cabinet, which is loaded with Eminence Wizard speakers.
