Male: If you are paying close enough attention and you have of course the advantage of developing a wonderful science club NSC, no social conditioning and that is outlining your new book, but why cannot we joint them, that outstanding title.
Anthony: Thank you.
Male: Tell us a little bit about NSC please.
Anthony: Well, I think everybody wants to change something in their life—we all want to improve no matter how successful you are in anything and the challenges, people—they want to make little changes or more—who want to be great moms—it is also like in other wife.
Or a martial artist who wants to absolutely be the best they can possibly but they got to figure out, how can they keep their decibel strong and still keep their business and all the other—you know—you can commit it on your wife and not drop off on anything, that is not an easy thing to do.
So, what my wife is about is—teaching people strategies for creating a lasting change. And the keyword is there are strategies. You can go about creating a change, anybody can weigh or lose 10 pounds or something—it was like—lose and get it back.
It is a lousy strategy, so, what I am trying to do in this program is give people the strategies that can help to create the changes they want emotionally. Because, martial arts is all emotions or the people think that it is a disassociate emotion—I do not think so.
But, how you get yourself from these other thing—frustrated or angry or fearful or overwhelmed, illustrated as absolute total focus or stated about passion or joy—to be able to shift gears. Not just shift gears in to one martial arts focus but to be able to shift gears in to the variety or the full spectrum of what is available to us as human beings.
I try to be about how to be of specifically step by step ways, things you can do in a heartbeat. For example, if we want to change what we feel, we got to realize all human emotion is controlled by focus—it is martial arts, we understand the importance of focus.
But most people do not know how to really focus; they do not how to do it like physically, they want to do it mentally. Focus is control by questions. So\, if you want to be on a lousy state, I like you to ask yourself, “Oh man, what is crappy about this”, you are able to find something, or you can say, “What has been horrible in my past”, so we know that it is something that was painful…
Male: Why this always happen to me?
Anthony: why does this always happen to me, great question, remember, ask and try to see—why, because you are stupid, because you deserve it.
Somebody was asking up, “How come I get numerous weight”, because you are big. You go and ask a lousy question and there was a lousy answer, maybe if you say, “Hey, how can I lose weight now and enjoy the process?”
Now you come up with a way to do it, they know it works but you are likely to do because it is enjoyable. We mu9st control our focus in the area of physiology. The best martial artists that I have met are martial artists who know they have the physiology and now, they have the execution of strategy and skills but they have the mental strategies and they have a core belief.
I have met a gentleman who in several years ago, won a Chinese Full Contact Martial Arts Competitions who is a Caucasian, the first Caucasian to ever do that.
Where—often they fight to the death—now my values, (laughing)—but this gentleman, his whole strategy, his whole thing was, his belief was—the more energy he expended, the more energy he has—like a turbo charger. As everybody else, it is like “how much I got left, I have nine battles down and I do not know what is left to me”—he is like Terminator—the more he get, the more he comes, you know.
Male: He is feeding on his opponents?
Anthony: Exactly—honestly we know that intellection, we have heard about it, we studied it and various people instruct us and the philosophy of it—very few of us had some body hit—so, what I am trying to find is, okay, how many do that or—I just recently interviewed a man named Stu Mittleman—in New York city he broke the world’s record, he ran a thousand miles in 11 days.
And we were talking—he is running in 21 hours a day, slept 3 hours night—21 hours straight, 84 to 86 miles a day—the most beautiful thing about that was—this guy was not a runner and he is not in scale and what he did though, what is the newest thing is, he had to first work on his beliefs—he yields to the higher standard than anybody else, if he was convinced by other people, he want to run a thousand miles. He did what I talked about—higher standard than anybody else that this is your standard now, if you have the standard and then believe—so he went down to South America—once a year on a holiday, they run 75 miles a day for front.
So he started picking their brains and he started adapting this strategy, and once he could see or give it another day, all he do is expand it then, he had a trans body to burn fat, because most people that won a marathon, they eat carbohydrates, much spaghetti so that they do not hit the wall or you cannot run three marathons a day for 11 days and not hit the wall and last—you change about chemistry—so he literally trained his body chemistry to burn fats which everybody wants—they want to burn fat—so, I tried to put up a book.
So the book is filled with strategy up to strategy in what you can do specifically to make a change in each area and how to develop it as a habit or as a lifestyle, so it is in a temporary change—but it is something that is ongoing and it something that is fun.
