Hey guys, this is my first video on YouTube of a review of some headphones and my first review all together. I hope it’s okay, our review is going to be all right. I've done my research and I have the products here so I know what I’ll tell, tested them quite a lot, I wore both sets of ear phones for about a month which is not great for the ears because these are not the best ear phones I have to say, free with my iPhone. These are the Bang and Olufsen A8 earphones which I got off of eBay for half the price. These are genuine earphones and I checked up on—detail to make sure that the person on YouTube sold me genuine earphones and as you can see this is the Bang and Olufsen which most of other earphones pretend to be this, it’s nothing like this, it’s exactly like the one on the B&O website.
And there you go, here is the earphones and as you can see already, I have lost the cheap foam thing that comes with these earphones which is probably one of the only thing bad about these earphones. They come with a lot of pieces of foam which really downgrade the qualities well I think, I think—well actually I know, I'm going to say that these earphones are an outstanding quality, they are really excellent and they're made of stainless steel I believe and as you can see here, sorry it’s not focusing very well. There you go, it’s focused better. This pump, well it’s a sort of pneumatic pump here which puts some resistance so they don’t open when it’s—out in the ear, it literally fits mine about here, I've got quite bigger ears. I'm going to say I—another—again. There you go.
It’s very nice. Okay then I’ll just refocus. Okay that’s focused again and what I'm going to talk about now is how much these cost. These are £80.00, these Bang and Olufsen earphones, not the Apple ones and at B&O or any official retailer. But I also said I got mine from eBay and they are official, real B&O ones. I would think if you wanted to buy some of these of eBay, I’d check up with the seller first to ask them truly if they're genuine but I suppose if you know that they're not, it’s not going to put them—lie about that and so have a look on eBay for the consumer guide and Bang and Olufsen A8 earphones, it’s got quite a good load of pointers on that, useful to some people anyway. Factory review anyway, this fully adjustable earphones, these that I told you before, this is excellent, smooth sliding action here, this is about how—are or how big generally. Then this goes on your ear like that then hooks around the back, making sure that there’s no way it’s going to come out your ear while you're doing sports activities or whatever. And these are overall excellent earphones with great quality, with the low end bass notes.
I’ll like theses earphones down quite a bit because they're not In-Ear headphones like I'm used to and they don’t provide much bass at all unless you have your music turned off where it can be bassy enough although it does in the enjoyment of some music I have to say, although it improves the enjoyment of nearly every piece of music I have on my iPhone at the moment and because it makes you seem like you're there in the concert, at the recording because of the excellent reproduction of sound, which sounds exactly like it’s supposed to. As you might know, your voice sounds different here on a recording like it does from me and so with these earphones, they quite often reproduce the sound much better. It depends what you’ve recorded with this as well. But these are genuinely great earphones for producing the same sound again after the recording, as long as the recording is good enough as well, meaning that your music is well improved and specially over these cheap, techy iPhone earphones which I’ll speak about now. Okay then, these are the normal iPhone earphones which are a complete rip-off I think, £20.00 for these cheap earphones, which I think you can probably get the same quality from some cheap Walkman ones which are about £5.00 in Argos or any good consumer electronic store. I’ll just auto focus a different level for you now.
Okay then here’s the close up of these earphones, you can see these are just fully plastic, they’ve got a rubber around the outside. I am sure most people know who’s owned an iPod or an iPhone so I'm sure you know exactly what these are like. The sound quality is okay, the bass is okay, the mid range is let down a bit, to be honest and the high range is also a bit lacking but I'm sure that doesn’t really matter if you're using these earphones because I'm not sure if you care so much and if you’re still using these. I'm not sure, to be honest if that’s completely true actually because these earphones here, as I said before retail at £80.00 and these are free with your iPhone or iPod I suppose and for the difference in audio quality, some people might not find it worth it. I think that the Bang and Olufsen earphones are not great value for money, although they are a nice piece of design so I think what you're paying for is the name Bang and Olufsen and the design which is really nice but it really stands out and so I think the build quality is also really excellent.
I've also got a pair of Sonys, I'm not sure exactly what they're called but here they are on my iPod, I’ll post it upon the description or the comment section what these are actually called but these are being probably the best earphones out of quality, value and build quality, and style actually because it does look great—that I have ever owned, the build is really well, they fit in your ear, never fall out and they insulate sound pretty well and they were £20.00 from Tasco I think, these ones, doesn’t say a post of what they call exactly these Sony earphones in the description or the comments section so that you can go out and have a look at these and I think they’ll be about £20.00 everywhere, the bass is absolutely—well it’s huge the bass on these although it doesn’t—although it’s not a lot about bass or anything but these really—I really enjoy music, well less than through these. They're just really easy to put on and don’t forget about because they just don’t feel like you can just put it on and then press play on your iPod and then you don’t until you get where you want and then turn them off and they're very comfy, they never hurt your ears and they're excellent value for money and then Sony, they have extra long cord, on one as you can't see here, sorry about that.
There you go there’s a very short cord from here which is the thing which lets it—and an actually long cord to go around you neck so this means that they don’t get pulled out of your ears, specially the one in the right ear as you can see there, you can't, you go right here, that goes around your neck and then goes into your right ear and when they do get pulled, if you're drunk or doing some exercise around in your bike, wherever, they never usually come out and they're very good earphones and I highly recommend these. Thanks for watching.
