Apply To Reach Schools
Just as if you are getting into reach school are pretty slump by definition reach school I would like to call them unreachable schools because of the --
75% - 90% Chance of Being Rejected!
75% to 90%chance you are not going to be accepted. So, when you are taking advice from you guidance councilors or from books that you read that say a third of schools that you apply that should be match safety in reach schools. Well, what sense does it make if you are going to be applying to schools, where the odds are not in your favor that there are piled against you for getting in?
Reach = UnReachable
So, I would not go there route. Why waste your time? It is no different than asking the guy next door who is get his car for sale for $500.00 out of his front lawn. Your good neighbors and he says to “you know, I love to sell you the car but there are 75% to 90% change that it is going to die if you put another hundred miles on this thing.” Well, you still want to give him a $500.00? I do not think so. So go where the odds on your favor, with your match and safety schools, where your chances are that you will get some financial aid. But if you absolutely have to apply to that one school that is a reach school and for being satisfying with some is curiosity especially your own, go ahead.
You Do Not Have To Lower Your Standards. Just Be Realistic About Your Odds.
But do not beat yourself up over, if you do not get accepted. Character, building character means that doing the things that are going to help you make wise decisions based upon some realistic assessment of who you are and what you are capable of.
