Are There Exercises to Improve Eye Sight

Teresa: Hi, my name is Teresa, I'm New York, I was just wondering are there any exercises that you can do to improve your eye sight?

Richard Davidson: Hi Teresa, that's a question we get all the time. You may see some informercials that advertise eye exercises as a way to boost your vision or a way to get rid of reading glasses. But as of today we have no proven scientific evidence that those exercises work. There are small subset of patients however they do benefit from eye exercises and those are patients that have trouble using their eyes together, if you have any suspicion that you may be one of those patients its important to see an ophthalmologist to see if it qualify for eye exercises but for the average person eye exercises are a little to no benefit.
