RealQuestions Andi: I’m Andi from Exeter, New Hampshire. My boy friend really wants to move in together but I’m not ready. What’s a good way to let him know this without hurting his feelings? Jennifer Hartstein: It’s so hard to be honest with what we want, especially with the people that we care about and if you were feeling as that you're not ready to move in with your boy friend Andi then you really need to be honest and direct with him. You're not saying no, you're just saying, “Not right now”. So being able to tell him how much you love him and validate how important the relationship is for you and to be with him for the long run, you need some more time to be able to continue to develop that relationship. And as soon as you're feeling more ready, you’ll let him know when you guys can move forward on those next steps.
