Female: Are you a thinker or a feeler, because Robert Silverstone explains how a simple shifting language can open up a different mind set and approach to life.
Robert: Often times when I start working with a new client, I will say to them that if I do my job properly, I will drive you out of your mind.
Because I do not want you operating in your mid, you do that very well on your own. I want you operating from some place else. And when we get you operating from some place else, we find that the cerebral, the intellectual, the academic, which some people are priding themselves of is not always working in your best interest.
Often times if I say to somebody, how do you feel about that? The response might be, well I think, I feel this way and they are not familiar with the expression, I feel good about that or I feel uncomfortable about that.
And mostly start using this language, it initially takes them out of their of their head which is for me, the lab, where I do my work, it is not my head, it is some place else.
Female: Are you more comfortable in your head or in your gut, have you been able to develop both abilities? Tell us how you do it right here on www.peoplejam.com.
