not only that but there is no "electrical&quo t; connection between the coils and the a-bar you tool put down the tat machine! save a life it might be your own

By rubbing the armature bar and the coil heads on emery cloth you will be increasing the distance between the two when you reconstruct. The machine has to be retuned after these processes. I have owned 3 shops and still work in 2. Your instruction is misleading, the machine will end up being a "Rattler!"
