Hi, this is Kent with Clean Air Gardening and today we are going to look at the assembly of the Sunlawn MM2 Manual Reel Mower.
Okay, it is time to take a look at the pieces that we will use to assemble the MM2. You have got three pieces for your handle assembly laid out in the order that we are going use to assemble them, the reel mower itself, a little metal plate and a bag that have the pieces that we are going to use to assemble the mower.
Now we are going to ahead and put this plate on. On this side of the mower, this two pieces that the plate fits. One of them actually moves, the one you put the plate on the side that does not move, and just put your finger push in and then the plate fits nicely and rotates there.
So, what you are going to need is to loosen this wheels that are located on either side. Then I am going to lift the mower up to put it in the highest mowering position. Close the wheels again, you get them nice and tight. And then you are going to take this part of the handle, the widest part and insert it on the two bolts that you find right by the black part there. You got to push that down and that two pins located in your bag of nut and bolts. We are going to put those in right now and we are going to close up so you can see what it looks like.
So, we have got the washers and the two pins that we are going to use to finish off the assembly of the lower part of the handle. You could see the washer had little nuts there. You are going to put it in the plate then we are going to put our pin right through there and just close. Hold the bottom for the pin up and we are going to do that on both sides. Then let us take a look at what it looks like in just a second so you can see the pin is in place with the washer. And we are ready to finish the handle assembly.
Alright, so we are going to put the last two pieces of the handle on. You have got the sling knot and some bolts that you are going use. All we are going to do right now is put the handle’s pieces in place so you can see what it is going to look like. We got it basically look like that. We are going to bolt them in place, and then I will show you the final assembly.
So, the handle has always been both with the three pieces. That is a very lightweight mower. And we are ready to start testing it out and showing how to use it.
So, let us take a quick look at one of the adjustments that you can make in the mower which is the height. You have this two handles here that you just adjust. Lift them in and you can raise or lower your mower and this indicates your height that you are going to be cutting your grass. And when you find your correct height that you would like, use templates of closer to handles and you can it has got measurements all the way down there. So it is a very easy mower to adjust as far as the height is good.
