I have had asthma/uncontrolled ashthma for one year now it's beenj a night mare!! LOTS OF MEDS!!!! I have been having heart attack like systyms for two months and had a stress test done and all is well, thank goodness. It was the VENTOLINE!!!! I swithched to XOPE. and so far so good. Been a medic for 16 years and know a few things and if you don't.the Medical industry will shove tons of meds down your system which usually makes things worse. The docs in the USA are tought to treat the symptoms, not the problem!!! If they healed you then the RX/HOSPITAL companies would not make their $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

For those of you saying there is nothing that proves that Xopenex is better and that what he's saying is a bunch of BS, have you actually used the two to compare for yourself? My 2 year old's heart RACED when taking Albuterol for wheezing. There is a DRAMATIC difference when using the Xopenex instead. Her heart rate seems to be completely normal with that drug. So obviously, there must be some truth to what he is saying in the video.

I would like to know how much he gets paid by Sepacor? I cant even subject my ears to the entire video of complete lies. I'm sure he does have tons of articles/studies all of which were paid by Sepacor. I can get him 20 right now, independent from any company, that goes against all the bs thats coming from his mouth. He should be ashamed of himself as a doctor to push a more expensive and NOT proven BETTER drug than Albuterol.

I'm very surprised a pulmonary specialist would put his name on anything that says Xopenex has decreased side effects.....the clinical data does NOT support this and even Sepacor doesn't even make that claim in its package insert.

My husband is a NMD vent dependent, irregular heart beat (no pacemaker by choice)individual. He is on previcid, Potassium, digoxin, and coumadin for heart. With albuterol his arrythemia goes crazy. With xopenex he is fine. We've tried both due to cost and insurance medicine coverage but we will go without other basic needs vs. xopenex.
