I am now going to attach my ledger rig. In this instance, I am going to make up an open ended ground bait feeder rig. So, here I have my grand bait feeder and I am going to past it on to the main line.
Like so, but not just slides freebee up and down the main line.
The next step is to put a rubber bid on the line to act as a buffer when not feeder rubs against a swivel and a knot. So, let us put the rubber bid on,
(Demo)
There it is, and we will slide that down the line as well.
The next stage in is to actually tie are swivel. Now I am going to use the top half blood knot which is not that is in the section the second section of the DVD.
So we start by passing the end through the eye of the swivel. And take about 5 turns around the main line.
Pass the tag end back through the loop,
And tuck the end back through the main loop of the knot.
Now, we now need to lubricate that knot with some saliva and just gently tease that knot up until we get to end. And now we have it tide.
Really easy knot, a reliable knot. Using that and practice that by referring to the guide on section 2.
Now, the discarded tug end, do not forget always throw you line away. Never discard it on the bank. Take it home with you and disposed of it in the bin or in the local bin or if you can find one.
Right now that is my feeder attach.
Very, very simple set up. I like to keep myself very simple less chance of tangles and this is a really safe rig. I do not know rigs that attach suddenly because if you do break up on a fish, then the fish can toad up feeder around with that and we do not want that to happen. If a fish breaks his line or the line breaks, the feeder will just slide off and just lay on the bottom and left no harm will come at the fish.
