Automatic Sprinkler Valve Wiring

So, what you will notice with the automatic valves is that there is two strands of wire coming off of each of them. And basically, what you want to do is you will take one of them from each valve. It does not matter which one, just take one and you want to twist them together and then with the large wire connector. You want to put that in with the piece of wire that you are going to run from here into the timer. Now you are going to take of this strand, which is the white strand and that is going to be your ground. You are going to strip that off and you are going to wrap those the three pieces and then you are going to connect them all with the wire connector and that will be your ground wire. So the remaining pieces of wire that are not connected to your ground are going to be connected to the other strand of your multi strand. Basically, what you are going to do is you are going to strip off I say, the red one and connect it to the extra wire on this valve and then you are going to connect it with a wire connector.
