Welcome to Weight Loss News and Reviews. My name is Dr. Cendreck Pearson and I would like to talk to you about, “How to avoid gaining weight when you are on vacation”.
Now, this is so easy to do to gain weight on vacation. The average person gains 4 pounds, when the go on a cruise. I imagine it is the same thing for when people go Las Vegas and all of those crouches and decadent Las Vegas buffets. I should know, I did that when I was in Las Vegas last year. I gain quite a few pounds from the buffets, so last week I was in Las Vegas and I was determined not to let the same thing happen again.
So, here are the things that I did to prevent gaining weight and these are things that you can do to when you are on vacation.
Now, the first thing I did was I stayed in a time chair, where it has kitchen facilities. So, there are those options in every town you can go to some where that has kitchen facilities and it is very helpful to be able to prepare your own food, maybe two times a day and then go out and splurged one time a day. So, I ate very lightly, I stock the whole refrigerator full of produce and lean healthy protein, and that is what I did, for two of the meals.
Now, when I did go out and I did go to a buffet or restaurant, just try to eat lightly and if you go to a restaurant just cut your food in half that you receive and take the 50 percent of it home in a doggy bag. If you are on a buffet what I did was I made an oath that I would only get one plate of food and then I would be done.
Now, these takes a discipline, a tremendous amount of discipline. Especially, when a person across from you is going up there for the eight times but it is worth it. It is worth because it is just a tremendous toll on your body to over eat, so definitely it pays off to be abstemious eater.
Another thing that I did was I took a bus tour to the Area Mountains and I went hiking. So, I made sure that I got some exercise in everyday that I was there. I also continued my weight lifting routine, which is very important if you are not weight lifting right now. You need to you need to learn how to weight lift because I think that muscle building is just absolutely a requirement if you want to stay fit and healthy okay.
And lastly, when you are on vacation, very commonly people have constipation. There bowel movements just stop and it is almost as if there digestive tracts, there colon goes on strike, so, it is very important to carry thing with you that will help to facilitate bowel movements.
Some of my favorite supplements to help with that I take a fiber supplement with me, and I used cilium, I also take some magnesium, and I also take a colon cleansing supplement and I also take a animal bag with me, when I travel as a last resort. I have not had to use it yet, but you can never be to cautious.
So, I like to try those different supplements just to help facilitate the bowel movement. It is very important to at least have two a day.
