Backgammon: Playing The Game

To start the game each player throws one die, the result are 5 and 1. The one who plays 5 begins; you can either move your dice 5 points and 1 or you can move the same 6 points. You can only move to an open space or with one checker only.

I got a double 3 and 3; double means you can move the checkers two times the result you got that means I can move 12 times. One of the example is moving with my white checker three times and nine with another checker one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine.
