Backside 180

Frodzy here with you today. A little bit under the weather, I did little bit of drinking last night, it was Jen’s birthday. A little sushi, a little alcohol, I blew some Canadian that is good shit. I am not the gym master for sure but I like to jump so I am going to teach you my favorite trick that I like to do when I jump. It is backside 180 and you mix it up with any kind of variation you want, grab it, tweak it, let it float, no matter how good you are or how bad you suck, if you can do a backside 180 clean, people like that.

So when you are approaching a jump to do a backside 180 you are going to hit it pretty much like a normal jump. The only difference is that you going to put a slight amount of toe side pressure down. Not a lot but just enough to spin out of. Once you are at the jump, do a good hard Ollie, roll of a bit, but you are going to turn your head just a little bit or turn your hips just a little bit to start the rotation but not much. I like to get my knees up, grab the board again to a nice control position as soon as possible to get some stability there.

The next thing you want to do is start looking at it, it almost happens as you take off, is look up to the nose of your board or your front foot. It is going to be a blind rotation. You are going to be flying in the air blind. You are going to need to start to spot the landing backwards. So if you try to look over your head, you are going to revert to a 270 or 360. So watch your nose and watch the snoke come up backwards. Try to put the landing gear down, stabilize it and try to put a slight amount of toe pressure down actually when you land just like when you take off and to stop that board from spinning out. As soon as you get control, look up and right away. [Screaming]
