In the past we showed you had to make demon make up for your face, and this week we are going to show you had to make your demon fly. Jordan, sooperfxman, snicket, Mhinea? And Negato1 have all requested demon wings for cheap.
So we are going to make demon wings but for how cheap?

Liquid latex, three yards of one eight inch thick foam, 50 feet of ten gauge wires, nylon straps and buckles and foams spray glue.

The first thing I did was draw up some structural plans. Then use a pencil to sketch those plans full scale on a flat surface. Now you can measure, cut and bend your wire into a wing skeleton. Lay out and cut a piece of your foam big enough to cover you is fully extended wing. Place this into your wire frame then you scraggly to attach strips of foam on top. You create the leathery skin texture and fuse the foam with liquid latex.
As the latex becomes dry and tacky, you can flatten and shape the foam to create a more organic look. Let everything dry overnight then give the wings a two tone red and black paint job. To create the back piece and trim the piece of scrap wood to this shape then add it some padding. To secure the wings to this I use the meddle mending plate and some zip ties.
The final step to attach the straps and buckles then cut some slits into an old shirt for the wings to poke through. The cool thing about this rig is that they are life-size, easy to wear and while the wings can move and flap, they can also hold their position because they are made with wire they are like frigging gum bee and we will just have someone off frame moving the wings you could also probably stop-animate these wings. Throw them into a green screen moving like a stamp animation episode and then composite it back in.
It is your choice, here is the test film.

I am here with Jesse Cowell, he has just finished guest directing the test film and he is also the creator master mind behind Drawn By Pain at www.drawnbypain.com. It is awesome, twelve-part series online, all HD and animate and we think this it is pretty cool. We just hope that people get a chance to check it out, give it a chance and enjoy.
Super talented guy, the DIY film making ethic to the core and we are honored to have him here guest directing. Tell us what you thought of his test film and go check out of his website. Yes, we promise we do not suck. I can vow for that, Vouch? Vow? Whatever it is, it is the same. Bye.
Have you ever run out of nose patty? Or just do not have any? You can always use regular old chewing gum. It is stickier, it is messier but it gets the job done.
