“Pitching” Landscapes
Andy: How you doing? I’m Andy Robinson, the Landscape Renovator and we’re here with Jason Grilli. And Jason Grilli pitches for Detroit Tigers. Now you might wonder why Bob and I are huge Boston fans, why would I actually bring a Detroit Tiger player on to our website?
Bob: Yeah. Why would we do that?
Andy: Well, you know what, it was really tough to do but Jason is actually a pretty good guy. We actually do his landscapes in his house and he was the only major league ball player that went actually come on camera.
Jason Grilli: Yeah, they don’t pay me enough but you know what? Andy is a great guy and he does great work here. So I’m happy to be on your show here.
Andy: That cost me 10 bucks. But the reason why we’re here with Jason is we’re actually talking about low maintenance landscaping. And this is one of our landscaping in design segments we’re gonna do. Then we’re gonna talk about why we need low maintenance. And we got Jason because it’s actually a great reason. The dude is gone for what 8 months?
Jason Grilli: Nine. Well yeah, this year we’re gone for 8 months. Sorry to say, this hat is going to be taken over by this one because that’s why we’re going to be gone for 8 months.
Andy: You think I’m going jump a ship?
Jason Grilli: Yeah.
Andy: You know we both got great teams this year. We’re going to American League Championship and I’m probably going to have to get some ticket, Bob and I.
Jason Grilli: Free landscaping.
Andy Grilli: Yeah, free landscaping. Want to do some trade up. But Jason is gone for 7 to 9 months, basically?
Jason: Yes.
Andy: And obviously his house needs to have low maintenance and so we designed Jason’s landscaping. There’s a couple things we kept in mind. One was you’re not here so he doesn’t want to come back after the season and see everything all overgrown. The other thing we actually designed for some color. I know your wife wanted to have some color in the winter time and the fall and thru the winter and the early spring and the late winters are really important to you. So we’re going to do now is take a look at couple of his plants here. We’ll see how Jason takes care of them.
Jason Grilli: All right. Absolutely.
Andy: Bob, he’s got red berries on it too.
